Day 41 Sunday, June 28th - Woke up in Berlin and hopped on a bus to Prague. The first night there was pretty chill. About 5 of us that were on the bus went up to see Prague Castle. It was kind of funny because our bus driver said he would take us up to the castle, but never mentioned anything about making our own way back to the hostel. Soooo... That was an interesting experience trying to figure out where we were and how to use the public transportation. We eventually made it back, but it took us some time. Anyway, Prague Castle was beautiful. We mostly checked it out from the outside because that was free. It was a giant building that had been added on and update so often it didn't t really look like the classic castle, but it was beautiful nonetheless. After we got back to the hostel we got a "couple" drinks at the bar and had dinner. None of us stayed up too late. I think I was the last one to go to bed and that was around 11 pm.

Day 42 Monday, June 29th - A few of us decided to do a walking tour of Prague. Lydia wasn't feeling so good that day, said she hadn't got much sleep so she stayed behind to relax a bit. The walking tour was alright. Our guide took us to a bunch of spots and showed us the beauty of Prague, but he wasn't that great of a guide; kind of verbally vomited on us and I lost track as to what he was talking about.

Some pastry from the market in the City Centre. The woman that ran the tent was so incredily nice.

After the walking tour we did a little bit of shopping before heading back to the hostel to get ready for a pub crawl that night. Lydia was feeling better, so we all got ready and had dinner together in the hostel before making our way to the meeting point for the pub crawl. One our friends we had met in Berlin, Joy, was in Prague as well so we made plans to meet up at the pub crawl.

The night was pretty crazy. It started with power hour; free beer, wine, vodka-cranberry shots and absinthe shots. The beer was disgusting, but I drank my fair share of it ... It was free. After that we stopped at a couple more pubs, thought it was a good idea to have another full shot of absinthe and ended at what I think was the largest nightclub in central Europe. This club was 5 stories, every one of which was themed differently. For me, the highlight was the Ice Bar; literally the whole room was ice, the bar, the floor, the walls, the cups. It was so cool. We partied till about 3:30-4 I think before stumbling back to the hostel.

We did a pub crawl in Prawl. There was an Ice bar in this this club and the drinks came in an ice glass.

Day 43 Tuesday June 30th - Today we slept in a bit. When everyone woke up w decided to take the tram into the city center, check out some of the local markets and grab some lunch. It was a pretty hot day so after lunch we went back to the hostel to pack and get our stuff ready for the next day. Wednesday we were heading to Vienna.

Anyway, at about 6 we met up with a couple people for dinner along the river. It was the last I was going to see my new friend Joy that I met in Berlin. After dinner we all decided to rent a couple of paddle boats and paddle down the river for an hour. It was actually really cheap. A 4 person boat was 50kc each which is about $2.50 a person for an hour. It was about 8pm when we did this, which was perfect! We were able to see the sun start to set and some of the sights from the water. Soooooo beautiful.

After the peddle boat, we walked around a little bit to show Lydia some of the sights she missed when she stayed in bed the day before. We made our way back to the hostel where my friend Issy and I spent the last of our Czech Krowns on a couple of beers to get rid of the money since we couldn't use it anywhere else and then went to bed.
