Hey cool people,

I have WiFi again!!! This is going to be an adjustment; not having internet all the time, anywhere I go. I am going to have to rely on public wi-fi to stay in contact with the all of you back home.

Day 2 Wednesday, May 20th - We started out the morning by hopping on our first Busabout Bus, the bus network we chose to navigate europe with, heading to Stuttgart, Germany. It was still a bit rainy in the morning, but still scenery was still beautiful.

We got to Stuttgart around 10:30 am and checked into our hotel before heading out to explore. Luckily, shortly after we arrived, the rain stopped and the sun came up. We walked around the City Center and got to check out the Old Palace (Altes Schloss) and the New Palace (Neues Schloss). We had a simple dinner on the 20th; we went to the market bought a bottle of wine, a loaf of bread, meat, cheese, chips and water for less than 11 Euro. Groceries are so much more affordable than I was expecting.

Day 3 Thursday, May 21st - The next morning we had a nice, simple breakfast provided by the hotel before putting on our walking shoes and walking to the Mercedes-Benz museum. It was a pretty long walk, especially since we decided to journey without a proper map, about 4 miles one way, but totally worth it. We walk took us through the Park, which was absolutely breathtaking, a couple quiet neighborhoods, past the Pig Museum, which is the world’s largest apparently, and finally to the Mercedes-Benz Museum.

After the museum, we made our way back to the hotel and then took a taxi to the airport for our flight to London, where we will be for the next 8 days.  We arrived at the airport about two-and-a-half hours before our flight was scheduled to depart. We learned that we are not even allowed to check our bags until at least two hours before our flight is scheduled to depart, so we stopped and had a drink at the airport bar. When it was finally time to check-in the airport had gotten a lot busier, so we had to wait in the check-in line for a little bit and then the security line. While waiting to check our bags, we began talking to the guy in front of us who was from London. He told us some of the things we had to see, which we all the iconic landmarks. I also learned a new word, queue. It is the American word for line, as in the line of people is getting real long or the queue is getting really long.

Finally thought, Stuttgart was absolutely beautiful!
